Hey guys Ive got a vx acclaim s2 and my problem is that the light on dash (battery with positive and negative sign on it) came on at midday so i went and brought a new battery thinking it may have been it but that wasnt the problem. That afternoon i was driving home from work and notice that whole steering wheel dash was going on and off. Got all the fuses and the alternator checked, the alternator was putting out 12.56 volt when idling then we rev'd it and the voltage on the battery was going up to 13.50. We have a feeling it may have something to do with the earth? Thanks for the help
nah just dodgy alternator lol, battery light only comes on when the alternator is playing up. you could do a simple fix and just replace the regulator on the back of the alternator.
