i have a vy ute, pioneer deh p9650mp, and JL Audio 6" splits,

I was wondering, because i only have front speakers would it be possible to wire the front and rear chanels together, to create more power to the speakers, or does the HU already put all the power into the front as there are no rears.

i wouldnt need the front to back fading option as i dont have rear speakers,

The other option i was looking into was putting some 4" in behind the seats somewhere! has anyone else done this?

Thanks

DON'T DO IT!!!

SOME pioneer head units have the option of bridging the rear channels for a small sub but you can't do what you are asking.

As said, you can't do it... If you do, you'll be sending it to Pioneer for repairs.

If you want more power, get a small 50Wrms x 2 amp or something.

The guys are right, besidesif you think about it. It was only going to be just noteably louder anyway but with a higher percentage of distortion....
