    G'day,

I have looked everywhere and cant find any info on it.

My left boot on the steering rack is rooted, has torn off on one side and is hanging down.

Any done a 'how to' on this, or know how to do it. I know the boots are cheap, just wondering how hard it is to do and how to do it.

    Any help would be tops.

Merry Xmas and thanks a heap in advance:thumbsup:

the boot you are referring to I believe is on the tie rod,

The best way I would guess would be to mark the threads with paint or a paint pen, count them as well just in case, undo the damned thing, replace the boot and zip tie it up and then thread it all back together being sure it get it as close to how it was before hand as possible.

A wheel alignment should then follow when money and time permits you to take it to a mechanic.
