Power steering pump

Hey guys, any tips or help on how to do a power steering pump on a v6 VY commodore.

What tips are you looking for? Buy a decent quality replacement, remove the old one and install the new one.
Your biggest challenge will be undoing the nuts on the metal pipes. They can be super tight.

To undo the high pressure line on the back of the pump I recommend using the proper flare nut spanners, standard open ended spanners have a tendency to slip and round of the nut.

I’ve got a replacement one and all that just was looking for removal tips, I’ve done the rack now doing the pump.

if all else fails vice grips work well in undoing those nuts.
