Power Steering Rack Problem!

    Hey All The Other Day When I Serviced My Car And Was Under My Car Have Notice The Right Boot On Steering Rack Has Cracked And Is Leaking Grease If U Wana Call It,looks Like It Has Been Like That For A While And Driving Condition Seems Ok So Was Just Wondering If Its A Big Job To Fix???

    outer CV joint boot.... parts are cheap, labor isn't. pretty big job to do but it's a job that is probably worth doing. It's not like a rear main seal leak, which you could ignore for quite some time.

    If it's been like that for a while, don't just replace the boot. The amount of crap in there now will have most definately chopped out the inner tie-rod knuckle. Replace the inner tie-rod AND boot.
