hi guys, i was wondering whether anyone can tell me where the power windows module is stored in a commodore with power windows. A little help on what it does as well. From what I have heard all it does is give the driver automatic down on the drivers side window? cheers
it is located behind the fuse cover under steering wheel and is on the left side of the steering column.Black box.Dont know nuch else.
the moduel??? my calais uses a black back for it aswell as the immobolizer which is a pain, umm its located in the fuse box under the steering wheel
cheers guys , but does anyone know what it is used for I'm pretty sure its for automatic down on the drivers side window and thats all. can anyone confirm this??
Its where all the wires run as well I believe. Everything runs through it. So, the child lock, the automatic down, and the centre switches... The switches in the rear doors would be isolated and not run back to the module.
yeah it controls everything, i tried disconnecting it along with the immobolizer and my electric windows didnt work at all so it'd control everything
thanks for the help guys, but do can any of you take a picture of where it is located so i can see what im looking for. cheers
Sorry to revive an old thread but as I have the same question I would like some picutres if at all possible? I can't seem to find mine yet my windows still work...
