Power wire for varex

Hi all,
Where is a good power source to power the varex mufflers on my ssv?
I checked around the battery with a multimeter but couldn't find a 12v triggered by the accessories.
Sorry if this has been asked before. I quick search couldn't find an answer.

12v ciggy lighter wire from inside the cabin? splice into that

Would I need to run a relay? Also is there a 12v plug to use at the rear of the center console from the smokers pack?

Hey man,

I think mine is running off the battery in the boot so that it will still work when the car is switched off... PM D3CID3R, he knows how it works

Yer mine is also straight off the battery, you can operate it with no ignition on.
Battery was going flat after sitting for a few days but done a amp draw test on my battery and it's not the varex, they were only pulling 0.1amp sitting there.
Dunno about the VE but a mate has his off the ciggy lighter in his VT, only works on accesories.

If you really are addicted to splicing off your 12v aux then at least use a relay switched from your aux and powered off the battery....

Addicted?? I will wire it onto the battery. If I have battery troubles i'l go down the relay path.
