Ummmmm, Dont Have A Commodore
Hey all.

Probably going to be my only thread, since I don't actually own a Commodore. I do however, have a classic car (Chev - so still in same family) with what I believe to be a VL powersteering rack.

A quick ring around to find a replacement (current one leaks both ends) has returned to the results that a VN rack is the same and will substitute. Other people have said that they are not interhchangeable, and some have said they are if the tie rod ends are changed.

I'm hoping I can get a straight answer, as I'd have thought that if they are interchangeable, a later VN would be better, being newer.

So can anyone tell me what I want to know :)

Cheers

judging from what pub24/7 has stated,
yes the difference will be in the tie rod end spacing.
