powertrain fault

    vs acclaim
    I have just got my 96 vs acclaim on the road and is now showing a powertrain fault i don't know what code it is but it only comes on 5 mins taking off on a drive and goes off after 15 mins but it stays on if i use cruise control. It has vibration while ideling, minor vibration in 1st and 2nd gear, large vibration in 3rd gear at over 2500rpm and a very minor vidration in 4th

    The first step would be to do an error code check, the fact that the light has come on means it has logged a code.
