Hey guys, in the middle of getting all the bits and pieces for my rebuild and was wondering which set of rods are best? All seem to be around the same price. Although the PPM rods come equipped with ARP 2000 Series bolts.

Thanks.

Ppm/ ZZP/ spool/ h beams all look the same. Spool are a tad heavier and I suspect ppm/ZZP rods are one and the same

L32 rods are tough as nails if you're on a budget and will survive pretty much any power level. H beams are much lighter

Oh ok. The L32 Rods are almost $550 already though. The PPM ones are being cleared out for $650. Worth the extra $100ish?
The plan is to put a whipple or decently sized turbo onto it in a year or two; so I would rather spend a touch more if it means I don't have to pull the motor apart again.

Cheers.

Not sure where you're spending $550 on L32 rods?

If its in your budget h beams would be the pick. Gapless piston rungs from pacific engine parts are a good choice too.
