Hi guys, I am replacing my black sailplane with a blue one, an just wondering if I just scuff the paint an then prime an paint it, or I need to sand the colour off the new one.

If its 2k and the clear has not started peeling or flaking, then you should be able to give it a light sand all over, get it nice and dull, then prime with 2k primer and paint it with 2k base and clear.

If clear has started coming off then you need to get all the clear off, everywhere.
