Replaced thermostat, water pump, heater tap, serpentine belt, top & bottom hoses, radiator cap, finally replaced radiator. Flushed whole system refilled with new coolant & bled. I got into the habit of checking fluid level & oil before & after driving. Went for 100k round trip, temperature normal. Checked fluid & oil when cooled down every thing fine. Sat idle for 2 days checked fluid and oil and oil was milky. Why would this happen.

Sounds like one of your head gaskets is gone.

Did you replace the LIM gasket? The symptoms you describe sounds like the LIM gasket has failed and is a very common problem with V6 ecotecs

Head gasket either one side or both sides.
Car has been overheated and warped the heads.

How do I check lim gasket

Maybe do a little search on the forum on this topic..

When I bought my V6VY, the person that sold it to me had the same problems....Water in the oil....Couldn't see any obvious signs of water loss...So they cracked the sads and I got it.

I didn't do any checks...Just went by knowledgeable people saying it'd be the LIM gasket, so off with the inlet manifold and surely enough, could see the signs it was failing...

Replaced and 3 years on, still no oil in the water or unexplained water loss
