G'day, just thought I'd share a couple of pics and some info of our 2007 VE Calais.

Mods:
VCM OTR, custom cam 243/[email protected] .591/.596 lift
Full stainless Xforce exhaust 1 3/4 headers, 100 cell cats and dual 3" cat-back
Stock auto with a 3500 stall and 3.7 gears.

It made 313rwkw's with standard compression on our 20+ year old dyno and ran a 12.5@114mph on it's 2nd pass at Heathcote, it's no monster or animal by today's standards but it sounds pretty tough and will do 3rd gear standstills with ease, but the most important thing is as it's a daily driven car it is well mannered so my wife can take it up to the shops or go and pick up her mum up and when she gets home I don't get any complaints about the way it drives haha cheers.

I'd say none as its not huge lift.
the mph is there but you can get the same results and much better fuel economy from a smaller cam.
whya soa biga?

Either way nice car mate.

Cheers thanks everyone I really appreciate it.
That's right no fly cutting but you wouldn't want to go to much bigger, this cam is out of another engine so it has sentimental value but it really needs a fair bit more comp like 11.7-11.8 to really make the most of it.

Cheers
