   Hey guys, i have a little prob. I own a 97 5sp vt exec. The fuel ligt often turns on whilst the the tank has plenty of fuel in it. Often it then just doesnt work. The kms left to empty just says ----?????? help plz, its quite anoying. I thoght it possibly might be the fuel sensor but was unsure. If it is how much 4 new ones. Help plz. Thanks guys.

   could be a faulty sensor
   does your fuel gauge work when the low fuel light is on?

   it probably is a feul sensor...common issue with VT/VX.
   not sure if there was a campaign recall on them but my vxII clubby had sensors, pump, etc changed under a campaign/recall
