does anyone know what would be wrong when your engine just drops off when you stomp it, it happens bad enough when you stomp it around a corner the engine cuts out and you gotta stop the car and start it again.:ranting:
    any help would be awesome.

Exactly the same problem with me.

Try to check the fault code first.
If you find CODE 47 or similar related to crank angle sensor, I am 90% percent sure you need to change it.

It will cost you around 50 plus labour.

Could be a faulty fuel pressure regulator.
