ive been having a few problems with my vn v6 with a 3psi charger. it is running 28lb injectors. i got a tune made up for it and it doesnt seem to be running that well. it seems very sluggish, and a few error codes are coming up. im getting code 13 for the oxygen sensor, and code 24 for vehicle speed sensor.

for code 24 i know that the connection between the dash and the ecu is damaged, so the ecu always has a speed reading of 0.

i also know that my car is running rich, so i may need a new oxygen sensor. ive been getting this code ever since i got extractors installed a few weeks ago.

my main concern is that it is stalling when braking to a halt, and when i take my foot off the pedal and let it idle, the revs jump up and down a few hundred rpm. im wondering if this is because the blowoff is plumbed back into the MAP sensor line. ive also been told these are flat spots and that my spark/fuel ratio is wrong

if anyone has any ideas about any of these problems, please help. i also have a winaldl log if anyone would like to see it

where did u get the tune from? Greenfoam did one up for me and it works great with my setup. with the idle jumping up and down mine does that 2 but it doesn't stall, but revs very low, and when i put it in park after driving it will sit on 1500 to 2000 rpm,i think it might have something to do with the iac valve.
but maybe u should fix the faults u know of and work from there.

yeah i got mine from greenfoam too. sounds like you have a similar problem. mine doesnt stall too often.
    are you running bigger injectors?
i think ill solve my problem of it running rich by putting a smaller pulley on there and blowing a lot more air into it :)

oh vpv6wagon. is your engine light on and fan on all the time? mine used to idle in park at 1500rpm with the light and fan on and i think it was limp mode.
i can notice the sluggishness from launch. i used to be able to wheelspin easily, but now it doesnt lose traction at all

Interesting you ask. I just removed my bellmouth this morning.

HUGE difference low down and in general smoothness across the power band. that and my CAI and K&N, no flat spots anymore.

I have the walkthrough if anyone needs it. Also beware of the throttle return spring. No one to date has mentioned this, and it's a bitch to get back on properly.

Stocky: Have you tried sticking a stock tune memcal back in and seeing what happens? Just for fault finding purposes?

yeah stock memcal seems about the same. i used to have the bellmouth out, but put it back in to get rid of **** idle.
just went out to the car and found the fuel pressure regulator hose had come off. hopefully thats part of the problem

Both you guys are running the exact same tune but the tune is not for 28lb injectors at all, it's for stock ones, no one told me stocky has bigger injectors :) and that will be your problem.

Also nothing with the idle has changed from the stock tune so I don't know what's up with that (apart from having the wrong injectors) but the tune itself is good

mines not sluggish at all down low, used to b able to nail it to the floor on takeoff with no wheel spin, if i did that now i would go anywhere.:driving:
and i didn't notice much of a differance with the bellmouth out, but mine was already cut to pieces. i think the low idle problem is either the iac valve or like u were saying having the bov vacume hose hooked up to the map sensor vacume line might be giving the map sensor a dodgy reading, and i think my high idle problem is the blow off valve not working proply so the pressurised air is stuck in the intake pipe. cause my stupid bov only vents when u take your foot of the accerator.
