I think phones these days are pretty crappy. I got an old Nokia brick that still works fine but my new Nokia X6 is crap this is my second one in a year and it keep breaking and turning itself off all the time.

Im on my 5th Iphone! Ive had four stop working and covered under warranty. Now thats a quality product.

In responce the the OP, my xbox was 4 days out of the 1yr warranty they come with and it decided it didnt want to read discs anymore so i know what ya mean. I got annoyed with it and belted it... its worked fine ever since...

i paid a MINT for my denon home theater amp but thing is once you see inside it at soldering joints, inductive coils etc you know you paid a LOT for very good reason.

samsung are junk btw. as mentioned, people think that since they are paying (what they think to be) a lot of money, they are buying quality. sadly they are mistaken. its only when you buy top of the range that you get quality.

lol, i have a pioneer home theatre system in my room, broke last night after 6 or 7 years !
i have a 42" pioneer plasma thats probobly the same age, way better than some of the new plasmas iv seen lately.
i have a rear-projector tv that is like 10143245354 years old that still works PERFICT.

i also have a cheap "magnavox" 42" flatscreen thats going dead its not even 2 years old


but it really is sad at the quality that some big brand food labels now.

have you had fanta or 2 minute noodles recently?

I do not doubt that you would, thus proving Australians do not care about the quality of a product only about whinging about the inferior crap when it continually dies.

fact is, Australians buy cheapest crap possible 95% of the time and get sucked in to buying cheap brands that are household names.

more to the point that once a cheap brand has proven its self and got itself a name the quaility seems to take a dive
