While Im at it, Im gonna throw on a factory turbo kit too!

Picked up the following friday night:

    - t3 low mount turbo (minimal sideways play)
    - exhaust manifold
    - intake pipe
    - crossover pipe
    - turbo injectors + fuel rail
    - turbo plenum
    - dump pipe (has broken stud)

    plus
    - intercooler
    - airbox with AFM
    - brock grille

...all for 1K plus about 140kms drive round trip.

going to clean it all up,
repaint plenum, intake, crossover and turbo
plus get turbo rebuilt (may do it myself) and injectors cleaned and serviced
then I just need a turbo ECU plus some other tiny bits............ #### yea!

Wrinkle red'ding the new engines rocker cover, see tomorrow if it works out.

Also finishing off the throttle body which Ive made out of a KA24 pintara and a VL one. Just need to reassemble, then increase intake hole in manifold.

    The wrinkling didn't work?

Could always sand it back down and have it flat red (better idea, If I do say so myself)

Are you going to make the Holden lettering black so it stands out?

Have you had any problems with your horn? I have just replaced my ignition barrel and for the life of me I can't get the horn to work properly now... It is either stuck on or won't do anything at all!! Can anyone give me some ideas on what to do? You look like you know what your doing with wiring :)

I replaced the horn itself as it was dead. Was yours working before you changed ignition barrel? Theres a wire that plugs into the back of the horn pad that you may have left off. Easy way to test horn is put 12v straight to it.
