Project Monaro, is an exciting custom-build of an iconic VZ Holden Monaro. The team at Holden, is giving a 2004 CV8 Monaro a full makeover, with their designers, engineers and key build partners redefining the car. You can follow the build of the car in the video series below. Holden & ACDelco parts will be used to bring the car back to life. And some special modifications are going to make this one truly unique Monaro.

The best part is, when it’s finished – you can win it! That’s right, Holden is going to be giving away this one-of-a-kind Monaro.

But that’s not all that’s up for grabs, Craig Lowndes has also helped pull together a stack of super-cool Holden memorabilia, that you can use to create your own Lowndes Ultimate Holden Garage.

I guess it was bound to happen, businesses buying shed loads of AC Delco parts, it was kind of set up for that. Punters getting their car serviced were pretty down the list of probability.

Businesses should have been excluded. Only end customers who have no affiliation with or to ACDelko or Holden should have been eligible to win.

That’s how it’s usually done as licenses are needed for such contests. Who knows why that wasn’t the case in this instance.
