well didnt get the dents done today,
got way laid with other things and had to service the ute

so tommorow ill do the dents, looked the car over and ive found 3 small ones, so nothing major, shouldnt take me to long to fix up

today i did on the vl.......
fitted the bonnet struts, adjusted the bonnet to fit better with the struts
fitted the locating spring pin and got it working
pop rived my vin plates back on the firewall
fitted my strut brace and painted the strut bolts black

ill only chuck one pic up in a sec as i need to have a shower really soon before i go out

intercooler is looking to be ordered in a few days

GKTech no holes intercooler kit
all parts you need are in the kit, all clamps bolts silcone joiners etc

no holes are cut into the side skirts so its fully legal

havnt touched the car in 4 days:dance: bored

captian thread whom is drilling my block is still waiting for a drill bit to arrive from the states as there are no off the shelf drill bits at 175mm long in the size needed

tommorow after work im going down to the shop im hiring the booth at and just making sure we get the weekend all set, so ill have a deff date and time then.

then when a the tow truck dude comes into work next to drop a car off ill book it with him then.

ordered my paint today
2 ltrs of undercoat
2 ltrs of basecoat
1 ltr of the black we used to do my black outs

so tommorow they should be in tommorow, so there goes another $412.61

got a phone call from captian thread, the drill bit came in late friday night and he picked it up today.
so one day this week after work he is going to come down and finish it.
just got to wait for another call when he can do it depending on when he finish his work

still havnt ordered my Gktech intercooler, been slack

picked up a few parts from u pull it on monday
a supposrt bracket which strengthens the lh skirt (removed it when i had my CAI)
2 dash peices which i had a switch drilled in one
and a few screws and bolts

this weekend the fun begins, start to block my car down:w00t:

my mate Jon can pull it off very dam good with ppg clears but he said he deff will polish it so the ppg clear really show what quality is

which clear did you end up getting? and how is going to be applied?

farg i forget its exact code,
its ppg D8120, there best clear in the deltron range

plans is paint roller and brush:whistling
nah same as the base and under coat, by gun.

nah i meant liek what ratios you mixing the clear at and how thick is it going to be
found with mine layed on best when it was thick and at a lower pressure than normal and i didnt even have to do a cut afterwards, just a polish a week after it was out the booth
