basecoat/undercoat is 2:1
clear is 4:1

undercoat where looking at 3 coats
basecoat (colour) 2-3 coats
clear 3 coats, 2 medium and last one will be flow coat

you had much probs with the clear on the ute? or is it holding up fine and still got the shine

had a contaminant in the basecoat on the tailgate, got that fixed under warranty but apart from that its been excellent, polish and wax it every 3 months and it still looks like its just been sprayed. you definately get what you pay for thats for sure

bugger, at least you didnt have to fork out for it to get fixed

you can really understand why holden, bmw, bugatti and about 30 other manifactures use ppg
the quality is just that good

quick side note im bidding on a brand new dash 'turbo' badge
the little badge abouct 1cm high that sticks above the radio area just below the air vents

so then its offically a berlina turbo:yeah:

paint came in today
picked the tins up and looked at the names and codes and noticed one was diffrent

B52P waien blue pearl
so poped the lid and its was wrong, it was bassically a gun metal grey.
so spoke with the dude who dropped it off and he called into the head office

someone stuffed up along the line, they missed out a '0' in the code
B520P is the code but they mixed up B52P
so tommorow he will have the colour mixed up and brought in

just finished blocking part of my car down

spent 3 hours straight blocking
blocked both the quater panels, boot lid and the LH rear door
