well spent most of the day mucking around with mounting of the fuse rail in the glove box

got another glove box from u pull it and butcherd it down
chopped all the back and sides off it

spent a few hours cutting trimming and mucking around with a acrilic backing only to decide it was not going to be big enough when i had almost got it done

so bent up a piece of checker plate and started mucking around with it, got it mounted fitting with the glove box and the fuse rail cut out marked up

so tommorow at work ill cut it out with the cut off wheel and tidy it up a bit

tommorow at work ill grind all the edges up and make it smooth, was only a ruffy to give me a idea


mounted by the factory screws which hold the glove box backing to the dash pad,
once ive got it all monted/set up etc ill carpet it and tidy it up
also the glovebox light will still be able to light up the glovebox so you can see the fuses at night


got a crusie control switch block for free but its missing the buttons ha

im currebtly bolting my turbo on so tonight it should be offically a vl berlina turbo:w00t:

that one bolt is so bloody hard to do up under the manifold in the centre

took me 30 minutes to get it started with my finger tips:bang:

plus im half watching top gear now

currently just tightning all the manifold bolts up
getting there

And indeed, Top Gear interrupts everything. But once you get it going you'll wish you didn't stop for Top Gear.

now need to torque them up in order then connect all the oil water lines and done for the night

Well I'll say good luck with the oil/water lines. They're what p*ssed me off the most.
