Hi Guys,

I Know this has prolly been covered before but i cant seem to find it i just want to know the pros and cons of a shift kit eg. wear and tear etc.
any help much appreciated

pros are quicker/harder shifts, can get the wheels spinning into 2nd (if you like that type of thing) one con would be it can be pretty rough if your just driving around everyday slowly as it changes gears really hard

but the pros outweight the cons :)

wouldnt the harder shift put more strain on the trans, tailshaft/joints, diff ,axles etc??? I wouldnt put a shift kit in unless i strengthened everything fron the trans back as the spinning into second and hard changes cant be good for those parts
