Hello my dudes shall just get straight into the new car, wanted to give an LS a go while my Mazda is turning into more of a project.

Model: 2005 HSV VZ Maloo R8

Colour: Impulse Blue

Bodykit: Maloo bodykit yo

Engine Type: 6.0L LS2 at 101,000kms

Engine Mods: OTR Intake, FAST Manifold, Cam (Not sure of specs), Pacemakers extractors, full exhaust and tune

Gearbox: 6 Speed Manual

Brakes: R8 standard upgraded brakes I believe

Suspension: Lowered springs and shortened shocks

Wheel/Tyres: Standard VZ Maloo? Somebody will know on here

Stereo: DVD Headunit, amplified speakers and dual 10" slimline subs

Pictures below

Hardcover is getting a respray soon. Chose this because cheap yet modded and low kilometers. Genuine taillights coming in the mail to get rid of those ugly clear things
Considering black rims and blue brake calipers at the moment
Other than that not much else planned

Cheers guys I appreciate it. The taillights accidentally got send to my address but in a different state haha.
Now I'm under the impression that only a Maloo hard cover will fit mine, the twin hump ones look nice though. Might consider a series 2 VZ Maloo hardcover because they look better, thoughts? Any ideas if any other hardcovers will fit because the internet hasn't helped much

Now I want a maloo too.... dammit man. Looks sweet though, hard lid wise, with your sailplane only the maloo hardlids will fit. Also the twin hump has a different mount to the standard/maloo one that you have.

yup what he said , the maloo one has the bigger gaps to allow it to clean the sail plane , where the thunder one is more closer to the sides etc

Tinted the tailights while I'm still waiting on genuine. Currently looking at a series 2 VZ Maloo hardtop cause they look pretty sexy in my opinion. Have some pics lads, also got my other car back as well

Just a heads up, think the series 2 hardlids used different mounts to the one you have there. Just check it as it will require new holes.

Sweet ute mate, its amazing how much difference tinting the tail lights made wouldn't even bother changing them now
