Pull door handles apart

The handles cant be pulled apart yea?

Say like to add a chrome lifter. Into a Quicksilver surrounding?

You can pull them apart from memory. Can't remember how but I think I did to paint the colour side I don't think I taped the chrome.

Yes they can, you just need to push the metal rod out of the holes. It will need to be done with a hammer and pin punch. Just rewhich way the spring goes
