Aaalright I think I'm gonna polish the hell out of the Calais wheels then. You've convinced me. Some nice shiny wheels will look better than the ratty cepters I guess. Need a project anyway. Drinking beer and looking at the forums is fun, but drinking beer and polishing rims is more productive!

Well the vp has a set of 4 brand new tyres for the first time in it's life. Should last me a while and stop me from being paranoid about the police pulling me over haha. Still chasing up that 4th Calais rim. Think it might be under my mates house, fml. Unless he sold it on ebay.

In other news I finally fixed the damn water leak. Got new radiator, hoses and thermostat. Damn thermostat hasn't turned up yet but I did the hoses and rad. I'll do the thermostat when it gets here and she can finally have some coolant again haha.

This cheap Chinese radiator cap is Piss funny. Awww damn now I've put it on I'm never going to be able to change the coolant ever again! Lol

Did my thermostat last week. Not sure why I bothered the old one looked fine to me hahaha. It's great now the thermo fan comes on again when it heats up and my heater is working awesome!

Also been doing a bit of flood driving lately. This is work last Thursday. It's kinda scary it gets pretty deep up at the corner lol. It going down now though.

Ok so the vp is in the sick bay again. The suspect is a destroyed thrust bearing. It became noisy, I ignored it and like usual when you ignore things and skip maintenance then things break haha. Have to drive the ss to work for a few weeks (oh the pain of it all!).

So here's the list of jobs to do so it's just moderately unroadworthy and not a total death trap anymore lol.

New hd clutch kit and thrust bearing (may aswell while box us out)

New exhaust, this one has run it's course (see below)

New pads and rotors (they used to be slotted lol)

New rear shocks

New steering rack

I'll check out the bushes while I'm under there. Probably need them all no doubt.

Finally a service and a good bloody wash!

So time to dip into the ss fund. Oh well atleast the vp will be good to drive again. Atm it is just a pain in the arse. Check out my exhaust lol.
