hey guys,

This morning I went into holden to order some centre caps that are used on the pursuit rims that you see on cop cars, they were about $20 each and I was happy to pay that. My problem is, the bloke in the parts department insisted that wheel nuts of standard commodore steelies won't work with the centre caps as they crack them, he told me I would need to buy new wheel nuts, and at $11 a piece, that isn't going to work for me. Is there any other option(washers or something) or do you think standard wheel nuts may work?

cheers

for a VE the standard wheel nuts should work as the Police ones are standard with a plastic cap over them.

Pre VE, I know I had to get different nuts when I had my VR.

Are they hug caps your talking about or the center caps like on the old VL interceptors?
Maybe try the wreckers or eBay.
