I don't think a timer is a good idea because if it starts instantly and your timer keeps the starter going for a few seconds you will eventually do damage to the starter and flywheel. You would have to do it manually so you can release the button when the engine starts.`daj0pe said:yeh that kinda helps... but i mean.. what i'm after.. is putting the key in, somehow acknowldging the key is in, then pressing a button to start... the only problem i can see, is making a timer to 'hold the button down' for a few seconds while it turns over..
If you are going to put the key in why not just turn it?`daj0pe said:yeh that kinda helps... but i mean.. what i'm after.. is putting the key in, somehow acknowldging the key is in, then pressing a button to start... the only problem i can see, is making a timer to 'hold the button down' for a few seconds while it turns over..
My thoughts exactly :rofl:TigerVX said:If you are going to put the key in why not just turn it?
Doesn't the new VY or VZ have this on some models..`daj0pe said:hrm.. the new land cruiser does it as well.. but not with a push button.. as soon as you turn the key, it starts (as in.. you don't have to hold the key in a start position)
