would anyone actually bother with that?
Saves cleaning up your driveway after you spilt tranny fluid all over the place trying to remove the last bolt while holding up the pan, unless you have a car hoist good luck to you.

Righto smartarse, every one's got one of those haven't they as they work on transmissions everyday.

There are ways to do it without any specialist tools and not make a mess, obviously you're not that clever.

I use a 2ft by 4ft drain tray - It holds 12lt.
Of course now I have a drain plug in my trans pan, so not as necessary anymore.

I didn't say they did I just quoted the guy who has one and said its also good for removing fluid from the trannie, meaning it can be used for more than just as a brake bleeder.

Yes I know I am cleaver, you can leave 2 bolts on one side in each corner so you can tilt the pan down.

Yes you can but if your on your back under the car the tray gets in the way.
