Got a 2000 Calais! Took all the seats out making sure to unplug battery first, now before i put it back on do i have to reconnect them? like i replaced the seats with bucket seats so i dont have the sensors obviously, can u just leave em unplugged, or?

someone suggested to short the wires together to complete the circuit!

I Heard shorten the wires car cause serious problems, airbags are an item in the car you dont mess around with, either get it done properly or not at all. Ask Holden About this, they maybe able to reconfigre the airbag sensor module to say there are only 2 air bags instead of 4. But id highly wouldnt shorten the wires.

Perhaps you should have undertaken a little more research before you replaced the seats. If your car is ever in a crash and people are injured they will probably not be covered by third party insurance. You would be up for some significant medical bills.
