just realised its missing, can i just get the top bit and click it on or does the whole module need replacing.
I think you will need to replace the whole module. The bad news is they cost around $130 from GMH. The good news is you should be able to get one off eBay for less than $20. I bought one for $5.50!
replace it with one from a vs. the newer switch is much more reliable. i have had 4 old ones in my vr. but then upgraded to the vs style and havent looked back
haha lol, they r fundmentally the same car just about anyway. do u just uncrew the plastic door facia and unclip it?
nah mate, just pop off the "banana" shaped cover thing on the door handle inside there u just unclip the wire connecter thingy and then push the switch out from the inside of the door handle
