    Was going to get the standard black bottom part of the bumper on my vt exec painted to suit but then i started looking at maybe getting a S kit or SS kit. My question is does that black bit from the underneath just unscrew? I found this kit on ebay;

    Does the bottom part of that S kit unscrew and can i screw/clip it and replace my dodgy looking black stuff? other than the bottom bit the front bumper is the same yeh? can i only buy the bottom bit from a shop?

    Any suggestions would be great

    the s pac kit just fits over the top of the black bit at the bottom on both front and back. side skirts are completely removed and replaced.

    alot of the time its cheaper just to get the whole bar second hand froma wrecker than it is to get just the extensions. It turned out cheaper for me to convert my stock vt to vx ss kit, complete with different headlights, then it was just to get extensions.

    yeah went through the same thing looking for mine. i ended up using vx ss side skirts. they were only $70 each, compared to vt at $200 something each. i've got fiberglass copies front and rear that i picked up cheap. all up about 400 bucks painted. holden told me they still made the vt ss but you couldn't buy just the lip anymore it came as whole bumpers. but were limited stock. i've got a spare set of genuine front and rear lips in white that need repainting if interested pm me.
