Hi mate, First time to come here. Recently ,i sawp my car Vy to VZ Sv6 Car is great, but there's few questions want to ask Where is the traction control button in a SV6,VY s used to have a T/C button, but now the button 's became A/s,semi auto.. SV6 originally fitted with a fog light, how can i turn it on ? i dun see any button in my car.. And how hard is it to pull out the steering wheels? Cheers Man~ HOLDEN RULES !!
Traction Control button is just infront of the arm rest, behind the window switches Fog lights - pull the headlight switch out and turn on the park/headlights Steering wheel - dont know Check the owners manual, its all in there
i got only one button, for the interior light, and the other three is not "reali" a button, can't press it..
Hey Mate This a abit off the topic though just wondering how the VZ goes perforamce wise compared to your VY ??
You have no idea mate, I used to Drive a VY II S 04,and i had a test drive before i purchase a VZ, the VZ goes a lot more smooth than MY VY.,more comfortable, silent, plus more power. My fd told me Vz is a lot better than my VY while he came with me for a test drive ~
Wt if i really dun have that button,i know wt u guys mean.. How much does it cost to find someone wire it witha a button ?? The manual said there's also a ESP Button
Heres a pic of where the t/c button is The reason it says in the manual ESP is because the acclaim and calais have it but the sv6 just had the t/c.
Oh yeah, kewl, is your manual or auto ?? Thats wierd about the TC button, my mates brothers got a VZ SV6 and i had a look at his last night and its located same spot as my VY and your Previous VY
There u go mate, i 've no idea, mine is an AUTO one. Those three buttons don't work at all..:bang::bang:
hey mate, ur switches look kinda different to my sv6...not sure where's the traction control on urs..probably have to check with ur dealer or something..anyway the steering wheel has a catch underneath it where ur knees are if you're in the driving position...it adjusts the distance of the steering wheel relative to u..not sure if that's what ur asking about how hard it is to "pull out" the steering wheel..it needs a fair bit of force for it to be pulled out though
is your car and ex-cop car or something.. cause that looks like the interior black out switch and your plastic surounds are black when the should be tempest grey.. is traction control on or off?? maybe cop cars dont have traction control
Ya, u got that right, i just checked my log book. It used to be a cop car.. Why the police don't need T/C ??
police dont use TC or ESP because their trained to handle a vehicle without the aid of systems like that, so where possible their removed from the car altogether because the driver will be expecting the car to do one thing and it decides "no, I want to do this" ... can be very costly at high speed. A bit off topic but I like the interior light switch! Anyone know how hard it would be to wire one up? Just curious ... I was lucky with mine, ex NSW police Acclaim but its still got everything same as a normal road car, tempest dash, same switches, ESP switch still there Then again I dont think NSW go as nuts as other states such as giving them black dashes etc.
They dun need to remove the whole stuff if they dun want to use... Wt the.. Hopefully, they just kind of " Block " the button..
