Question For VE owners???

sounds all normal to me just the level of quality we have come to expect from holden over the last couple of years. With the roll back on hills i just got in the habit of putting the handbrake up. just takes time to get used to. thats about it.

My SS does everything you said, but mine being a 4-speed, I didn't care

as for the roll back I guess it's normal in steep hills, the torque converter opens or something like it, it's for the safety of the tranny

I could have sworn that the VE SS came out only with a six speed auto or manual? Tell me if I am wrong.

Even my '06 Calais has five speed auto.

The Calais rolls backwards on steep hills. Holds on the reasonable ones.

The transmission changes gears silently unless it's in SPORTS MODE.

He's from Saudi Arabia, they got 4 speed auto for some reason.

it's bad, but it's not that bad actually

yeah I get shitty fuel economy, but other than that, it's not bad

when I bought it that was the only auto available, I wanted a manual, but dad didn't like it as he knew my style in driving

dont know why they bothered with the 4's on the VE

lets say someone said : "We have a lot of trannies left from the VZ, lets put them on the VE and sell them to the Arab bastards ! they'll buy anything xD "

I would love to know what Holden were thinking when they thought about shipping 4spd autos in v8 to Saudi.
