Question on vs statesman

gday I recently bought a vs statesman v8 unregistered an no rwc cause I plan on making it a project. but...The car was originally a v6 but has since been converted to v8. The guy I bought it off didn't have it for long an doesn't know if it had been registered with a v8 so my question is will I be able to get it roadworthy an registered with the 5L in it. It has all the v8 driveline to like kframe an suspension an what not. any help greatly appreciated ! Thanks

In nsw you have to have the car in completely stock form to get a blue slip.... What state are u in? Perhaps try their website...

All good I called the rta as long as it's an optional upgrade such as the vs came out factory with a v8. then it's fine as long as you have everything else with ie. brakes suspension. you just have to inform the rta about the new engine number. to easy
