    Ok simple question...

Gregories manual says to loctite the head bolts, do i have to?

Gregories manual says to replace rocker retainer bolts because they are a torue to yield type and can only be used once, do i have to?

    no and no.

    HOWEVER.

Although you do not HAVE to do these things I would suggest you use the loctite as it is cheap and effective and it may save you hassels later on, I always use, ive never had anything rattle loose.

as for the bolts my Haynes manual says the same thing, but i'd say it would be fine, having said that if the bolts are under $20 i'd just buy them to be safe.

this is true, im the kind of person that wants things done today, and generally take shortcuts to get it done, thing is im no mechanic, and if one of the bolts snap, im realy ****ed. so i think in this case its probably better to wait it out and do it properly... realy sucks though cause i miss my car.
