    Helloo

What does the full system of my SV6 include??

What is a cat back etc and all this jargon..

I know headers/extractors/ exhaust manifold are the same thing, they come directly out of the engine. then what connects? the catalytic converter? then what etc etc

Does changing the Catalytic change sound? same as extractors or pipe size?

Full system is: Extractors, cats, mid section, rear mufflers.
Catback is: mid section, rear mufflers.
Changing both cats and extractors can give you a deeper note and better flow.

A cat back is an exhaust system from the stock catalytic converter to the rear mufflers.after the extractors is the catalytic converter, then there is a mid muffler section looks like a box.. After that is a crimp, which is a short section of flattened pipe, then resonators or hot doggs, then the rear mufflers.

From what I can gather its hard to get the sv6 sounding not raspy. I believe more flow ie high flow cats an headers will increase raspiness... But then again it all seems touch and go. My advice if your looking for sound, to get red back rears and the rest of the system leave stock... This is going by info I have gathered from Other posts on jc. Apparently sounds nice with no drone or very little Drone for the autos.

    What a ####ed up attitude.:upyours:
Exhaust threads are ####ing easy to find because they've been done OVER and OVER and OVER... and that's why they've been stuck into the top of this section for years.
You're the ####tard that's too lazy to look properly and follow forum rules, yet you give another user a hard time for politely asking you to look harder.
Wake up moron, an attitude like that wont get you very far on this forum if you ever another issue that requires help :banstick:.

    Not anymore.

If you look at the top of the forum you will see a V6 exhaust thread. I suggest you read it right after you read the forum rules.
