Clean your air filter, or add a K&N filter, make sure you have at least 34psi in your tires (preferrably 35-36), USE GOOD FUEL, service regularly, run a bottle of nulon injector cleaner through the tank, don't floor it all the time... the usual things.

Best of luck dude. I get roughly 450 a tank in my VP wagon, 68ltr tank.

VR Berlina wagon.
And don't carry 2 tonnes of gear in the back all the time either. Weight is a killer of fuel economy.

I get up to 500+ from my VR wagon, 68ltr tank. But I do live in the country so the majority of my driving is on highways.

hey m8. my VS gets about 330-360km per tank (59L). and thast givvin it heaps so yeh. id say the biggest killer is your right foot. lift that about 4cm and id probs get 500km per tank. i duno how you drive but thatd be my guess why you have poor fuel econ.

Here is only some things worth doing, there are many others.

*Tune the engine, includes a decent air filter, plugs, fuel filter, injector clean, etc etc etc.
*Fit CAI of some kind.
*Use PULP, BP optimax or similar fuel.
*Keep the tranny in third around town, 3rd is top gear basically 1 : 1 anyway.
*Don't use power mode unless overtaking.
*Driving ? that goes without saying the obvious.
