Quick & Easy Ecotec Q? [Resolved]

Hey guys, need a quick answer if possible. Asides from the badge on the front guard, how can you tell if a VS is an Ecotec engine or not. Cos didn't they have some non-Ecotec V6 and then most Ecotec after that? Anyway, is there anyway you can tell on the engine? Like should the engine itself have Ecotec or something written on it?

Haste would be great also as we're looking at a car in like 2 hours and want to make sure

i thought that all vs were ecotec, vr were non eco. thought they went new engine setup from start of vs line. could be wrong though.

All VS have an ecotec and if u want to make sure it says on the engine cover and the side badges near side indicators

Sweet as. We weren't sure if they went ecotec like halfway through or if they went series I non-eco then series II eco, but obviously they were ALL ecotec. Thanks peoples
