just wondering what the power loss is from the engine to the rear wheels is im getting a engine built at the horsepower factory and they said it will be a 600hp engine and about 320rwhp i will cry like a b$tch if thats all i end up with because of the money im spending. thanks

Well im presuming you have a manual gearbox otherwise its gota be a very strong slushbox.
Anyway heres the % driveling loss average on commodores:
25% loss on Manual
30% loss on Auto
So 600hp at engine in manual would be about 450rwhp max/400rwhp auto.
Duno why they said 320rwhp?? thats heaps of loss

you can usualy bank on losing 100hp from motor to wheels. More is you are running auto, nine inch etc. But that is a bench mark!!!

thanks heaps calaiscruiser and sir355 yep my car is manual i would be stoked with anything over 400rwhp. when i get a spec sheet ill post it im organising everything over the phone cause im in the hunter valley nsw about 1000k away.. thanks again lads..
