Hi all, might be a dumb question but should the thread part that the oil filter screws onto move at all?There was some play on one i was working on and cant remember if thats normal.
No, sounds like the casing has come loose. The outer casing is rolled over the plate with the thread in it, it should be tight and not move at all.
