Quicksilver Paint

Guys,

Does anyone know where I can pick up some origional 'Quicksilver' paint for any touch ups.

Available through Holden maybe via Part No ?

OK - just go to the parts section of your local Holden dealer and ask for "470G" Quicksilver Metallic. You can buy as much as you want. If it's just a few chips and scratches that need attending then all you'd probably need is about 100mL - but don't go below 100mL as anything below that would be inaccurate. 100mL of paint at Holden should cost somewhere around $15.

Oh and by the way, because Quicksilver is a popular colour, they should have a small rack of touch up paint cans on the counter and Quicksilver should already be there for you, hence no need to mix...

Cheers for that. Is there a 'best practice' way to apply on a small scrach. Scratch does not seem that deep, but is on the back of the bonnet.
