Hey all, Trying to source a cluster (level 2 or 3), just wanting to know if the VR and VS clusters are the same connection-wise (plug and play) or the looms/lights are slightly different? I notice all of the clusters on eBay are for VR/VS but I thought I read they were different? Thanks
Yep VR/VS clusters are the same, as are VN/VP clusters but the two are not interchangeable with each other. So you can use a VR cluster in a VS and vice versa.
Check the green printed circuit sheet! As aleardy advised, VR and VS are interchangable. VN/VP will plug in, but have a different circuit, so smoke will appear if the wrong one is used. If buying a VR/VS cluster, make sure that the green printed circuit sheet is in OK condition. It is not uncommon for stored clusted to wear away a circuit or two, so be cautious.
