racing seats

anyone tried the cheap racing seats goin around on ebay... can get a pair shipped for under $400. just wondering if they are crap. ie. wobley, uncomfy etc.

P.S i have a VR Ute. so would they even fit? how hard is it to "modify the rails"

yeah i bought 2 of them a while ago and never put them in. i got the for about 90 each and yeah arnt as bad as u would thing for the money they are quiet good made. u will have to customise the rail to fit in your commodore. and need to have the lift mechansim with it becuse they sit really low. i have seen an exact replica of the one i bought made from sparco the only fifference was the shell of the seat was made from carbon fibre rather than hard plastic like these onee are which would explain why the sparco one retil for 500 dollars
