First of all, I was going to with RACV. But something changed my mind and dont know 100% what the rule is about lowering. I heard RACV rule is that your only allowed a 30mm drop? Dont know if this is true or not, would like to hear from someone on here who is with RACV. And whats the go? Thanks
Providing everything you do is legal, RACV will insure you. How about you call them first? Alot of companies are wising up to people dumping ****ty king springs in their cars with no other changes dropping the car down some 100mm at time. Apart from being illegal it is downright dangerous.
I'm in the process of changing from AAMI to RACV (AAMI will no longer insure me because I have passed the 1 modification they allow). The lady I talked to at RACV said that as long as it is legal they will insure it. The price is pretty good as well
My mate was told this as well and than went and lowered his car. Went to change his policy and they than said that the car had to be raised as it could only be lowered by 29mm.
Why don't you ring RACV and get your answer directly. It will be far more reliable than anything you will get on a internet forum. Reaper
i looked into this when i lowered my car because it is insured with RACV you can drop it an 1" 1/4 unless they approve it, i dont know what this approval process is tho...
