So.
I have a coolant leak somewhere in the system, the car goes through coolant fairly quick, all hoses have been replaced and radiator replaced a few years back, the car has 370,000 km on it
Underneath my radiator cap there is a sort of blue and black coloured sludge that accumulates, (there’s no water in the oil cap) what could this indicate?

Heater core leaking? Heater tap stuffed? Sludge in radiator= inlet manifold leaking maybe. Blue sounds odd could be transmission fluid mixing with your coolant depending on color, best to get it sorted, have someone take a look.

Like Trev said, I'm thinking LIM gaskets. If they have not been replaced before they will be fucked for sure at that mileage.

Get the cooling system pressure tested. Then work out if the sludge is a direct correlation to the coolant leak or another issue.
