Radiator overheating

2002 VX COMMODORE EXECUTIVE SERIES II
Hey Guys..
i hava a 2002 vx series II and i have had a new radiator installed about 2weeks ago now and ive checked it every 2nd, 3rd day since, 2 days ago it was fine, full radiator fluid where its meant to be, the problem 2day was it over heated when i checked it it had sum yuk greeny sludgy stuff around the cap and in the radiator itself, even b4 this the new radiator when heat up pretty fast but never overheat a 5minute drive and the temperture is under halfway 5oclock in the morning...

anyone know anything about this, and know how to solve this problem
would help me alot..

Did you bleed the system properly?? By the sound of it you should have flushed system aswell. Thermosat faultiy??

the machanics installed it hopefully they did a proper job, and now another friend just told me it be the thermostat aswell.
but as for that sludgy stuff i dont know what the hell that is...

looks like a power pole is gonna have a new vx friend hugging them soon
