Radio code

Hi guys I lent my battery to my mate and when I put it back in my radio needs me to put in the security coce. I have the code but iv realised that the 4 buttom does not work so I cant put it in. Iv tryed removing the buttin and pressing the lil buton behind it and still no joy.

Any ideas on how to get around this or do I just need to buy a new head unit?
