radio wont turn off

i have a problem with the radio in my ve sv6, it wont turn off when you turn the ignition off and open the door like it use to.

does any one else have the same problem and what was the fix.

i had the same problem but in my omega and took it back to the car yard i got it from and they replaced it..
that was just my fix tho

no ricey it doesnt come on at all with the door open, but when i switch it on manualy with the on/off switch (not the one for the doors) it does.

No I mean the little red light on the instrument cluster, does that stay on after the door is closed.

Happened to my Vy. and my dads VE. There's a little switch that pushes in (like a fridge) on the door, problem is it gets dirty and doesn't work, so take it out and clean it, and if you can't be bothered cleaning it every day when you hop out of your car push the button in and it'll turn it off.

VEs dont have the same style door switch as earlier models.
