VL Calais Wagons would have to be up there aswell. Only around 200 were made, available in NA, Turbo or V8. And only in Burgundy or Blue.

Wow, totally missed that. Sorry. I think my eyes skipped straight down to the VD.

From what i always heard from people that had them and from around the Calais Turbo forum the split was meant to be 100 NA 50 Turbo and 50 V8 but then another post i found said that it was more like 75 V8, 75 Turbo and 50 N/A.

But, all pure speculation.

If you want to step back a little further in time. Have a look at EH - S4. Only 126 Made for homoligation rules for racing back in 1963. Only around 10 have survived it seems, although one shell and drivetrain with matching numbers was sold in recent years. Whilst not a powerhouse car on todays standards, it was back in the day and refered to as Holdens first Supercar. Plenty of information about them available. I saw 3 of them together at a car show a few years ago in Sydney. Look like standard EH's, but they're as rare as ...

hmmmm I'm sure saw the S4 mentioned somewhere above??? Aside from that - very sad if there were only 10 left . I do know at least 1 went to the crusher about 20 years ago courtesy of a mate back in the day. Pitty as it was a very savable shell too but not worth anything at the time.

Not likely it was a race build but I remember 30 years ago I turned my nose up at an EH for $750 thinking it was too expensive for an old HOS, little did I know....

I have a 6 litre VZ Cross 8 Crewman. I believe they are pretty rare. Only 60 built I believe
